Five Sentence Fiction: Fenced

NewFSFBadge-1

I know its been awhile since I’ve done a FSF post, but I’ve been taking a break from my normal routine. I originally was going to take a break from blogging altogether but instead I only stopped doing were these fun challenges. I would look every week for the new prompts but no ideas would pop out to inspire me which led to no posts for a few weeks. I hope you all understand. I am going to try this week with FSF and Sunday’s post of PIandW prompt as well. So wish me luck! Now to get us started, here are the rules to follow for this challenge. What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.

This week: FENCED

A young woman is surrounded by demons, who sot her out and make her rethink about her perfect life.

They won’t let her out of their sight, they laugh and scare her back into the fetal position she sat a hundred times before.

When she awakens from the horrible nightmares, the scars are still there on her pale skin looking at her straight in the face, showing the worst of it all and how scared she has become from such nasty little beings.

She covers them up to make sure nobody sees, but she feels that they have started to suspect something is wrong with her as the once outgoing person is now trapped inside her own mind, too afraid to enjoy the company of others.

She has survived so much in her life, but she can’t keep fighting the same sickness over and over again to pretend that she’s doing better than ever; she feels as she’s trapped inside herself just waiting for the darkness to consume her spirit.
