What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.
This week: MALICE
He had every chance to escape, he tried his best, but he failed each time.
She sat in her comfortable chair and enjoyed watching him struggle to break free from her grip.
Although it wasn’t her hands keeping him there, she did have just as much power keeping him there than those chains.
She grinned watching him break out in a sweat, but she closed her eyes for a minute to read his mind and saw the pretty pictures he would do, once he was let go.
She sighed silently and opened her eyes, he looked so distanced, but had a plan of revenge stuck in his head, but only if he broke from the damned chains, but sadly that would never happen as she kept a close eye on his every move.
I enjoyed the story – I think you left the word “happen” out in -“but sadly that would never [happen] as”
Wasn’t certain, but wanted to have you look it over in case.

Ohhhhhhh it has been a while since I made it to Blogland and I love your spooky halloweeny blog skin!
And as for your 5 sentence fiction – eek! I was there watching it like a scene from a horror movie, very striking.
I need to get back into challenges – have had the month off from them due to a literature festival and preparing for Inkspill – the free online writing retreat last weekend of October on my blog, hope to see you there! x

Thanks, missed the world of Blog too – the only upshot was the week the mouse died on the laptop and we could no longer get online was the same week as the Literature Festival – so I was out a lot anyway! 😉 Hope for more catching up over the weekend!
