OOTD: Wonder

Today is the day that the new Wonder Woman movie comes out starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen! This post is not sponsored, I just bought a new WW shirt and decided to publish the outfit post because it felt right!

This will also my second DC superhero T-shirt that I have in my closet after the Batman shirt that my mom swore was apart of Marvel – you should have seen her face when I told her that Wonder Woman wasn’t part of it either! Anyways, I bought it when I got the other shirt at Walmart; I don’t remember if I had mentioned it in my last post that I found both of the shirts in the men’s section because half the time when I purchase tops they don’t fall off my shoulders! The necklines are so nice to me!

The shirt is mostly in different shades of gray, but has a comic version of Wonder Woman on the front. She’s located right in the middle of the shirt, she’s basically the only colored part of my shirt. She has her red and gold colors that everybody is familiar with. My mom made the comment as soon as I looked down on my arms, “well, one hand is covering up her face and the other has her hoochie!” Thankfully whenever I move my arm over on the armrest you can actually see her face, which makes me feel better! I can’t do much about the arm because it’s too low!

Now my pants are a pair of leggings I found on accident, they weren’t located in the regular section. They were in the middle of the walk way between the little boys and shoe sections! Out of all the leggings there, I only grabbed one because we were worried that they didn’t wash well, it was too strange for them to be there so my mom and I were having a hard time taking them seriously! Anyways, they’re a nice solid blue, on the left sleeve there is the word “Fearless” in caps and I always want to wear them with my superhero shirts and I think this one works well with them!

The cats in the background are eating leftover french fries and in the last picture, that was my sister’s arm on the side!

What do you think of this outfit? Yay or nay? Are you going to see Wonder Woman this weekend?

OOTD: Faux Blue Jeans!

Happy Monday!

Yesterday on Twitter I made the announcement that I wasn’t going to post this today because I wasn’t feeling good but then later on I realized that on Saturday I celebrated 6 years of blogging on here and I had no post for it… Even I’m a little disappointed with myself!

Last Friday, my mom and I took a trip to see my nana. I hadn’t been able to hang out with her like one-on-one since the end of April, so we’ve been needing some time to chitchat. It was a lovely visit with even better weather! So I was able to do another OOTD but since I’ve stopped publishing on the weekends, you’ve had to wait a bit to see my outfit! In my last one, I mentioned that I had another pair of capris to show off and earlier in the week I went back to Walmart and purchased two shirts this time!

I’ll go from top to bottom. I got another superhero shirt! It is gray with various different superheros on the front with the word “Marvel” in big, bold, white letters that you cannot see thanks to my arms! I think I just buy these hoping to have at least one X-Men on it, but I don’t think I got lucky here. Honestly, the only ones I recognize on the entire shirt is Iron Man and Thor. I was really struggling to figure them out, there was no asking my mom. Apparently she can’t tell between “green” and “yellow”! Oh, in case anybody’s counting, this is my third Marvel shirt!

Now about my pants! The day we found these, I was a bit dumbfounded because I’ve had leggings that looked like jeans before. They were tight and the pattern was made so it looked like they’ve been worn forever and you had torn it to pieces! The difference was it was easy to put on and remove which is great for any wheelchair user! Unfortunately, they did have one downfall, the material use was rough and I didn’t actually wear them very much!

These are completely and 100% different as they are smooth to the touch on both top and underneath! They sort of remind me of “basketball pants” as my mom and I called them back in the day! They are sleek and soft, which is awesome for my legs! They retain heat just like regular jeans! They look like jeans and that’s what seems to freak my mom and I out, like where were these when I was in middle school?! My only negative thought about it is they are not skinny on my calves but hopefully I’ll find some others that are snug around that area!

What do you think of my outfit of the day? Yay or nay? What do you think of faux clothing garments, like jeans? Do you think they can become a thing?

OOTD: She Hulk!

Hey guys,

So I’m back with my first spring/summer OOTD post! I’ve seriously missed doing these but they are so last minute that my mom or dad will get me out of the car quickly and we tend to forget to take pictures.

Anyways, I have to say my whole Marvel comics obsession might be getting out of hand considering this is my third top! My mom got this for me last week when she was out at Wal-Mart and after when I told her about what I thought when I opened my Batman shirt present at Christmas. She seriously thought Batman and Cap were in the same comics. She looked at me like so it’s not from Marvel? No, mama. He and Supergirl are from DC! So this was her surprise for me the next day when she came from work!

I love it but for a weird reason, I have a shirt that has She Hulk aka Jennifer Walters on it! I don’t know much about her but I knew her well enough to pick her out of this lineup and wonder the hell they didn’t just put Bruce instead since you can clearly see Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor! Is she in the Avengers? Another thing I like is that the whole design is large enough were you can see everything, even with my hands in the way. It isn’t black either! It’s navy blue!

As for my pants, you guys know about because I tend to wear them a lot in these posts. I need to go through my bottoms and see what really goes with this shirt besides these, because I do love the pants a lot, but since I wear them so much I’m afraid I’ll want to hide them somewhere where my mom can’t find them! By the way, that’s Bootsie at the last photo, she has a problem with photo bombing! For something special, my mom let me borrow her clip and I had my hair slightly up while at nana’s and I only “stabbed” myself seven times trying to rest my head!

So what do you think of my new outfit? Yay or nay? Who is your favorite superhero?

OOTD: Miss Marvel

Hello my friends!

I finally get to talk about this outfit. I actually wore this for Christmas but that whole day was a bit weird so I ended up forgetting about it. I didn’t think you would be waiting this long to get the actual post but okay!

If you guys didn’t know I am a HUGE nerd! I’m into a lot of superheros and a couple of vilians that even I didn’t realize I was into but I am! My poor mom is like my sister, they’re not into superheros. She only knows about Avengers, well Hulk and Captain America. She’s been nicknaming me lately “Miss Marvel” and I’ve been saying in my head “Captain Marvel” even though I’m not a blonde. She only calls me that because I’m mainly into Marvel superheros.

This outfit is pretty light, except for the socks. They’re like little booties! My shirt is while with the picture of all four Avengers: Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk in comic form in gray, on top of them is the word “MARVEL” in pink bold letters. It also has two thick circles going around the edge of the sleeves. My mom thinks it looks like a jersey type of shirt because of the short sleeves alone. The leggings I’m wearing I bought those months ago, we found them at Walmart but like everything else in my closet, didn’t have anything to go with it! They’re like a royal blue, with the word “fearless” in bold letters on my left pant sleeve. Unfortunately, they’re not very thick so cold air goes right through them when you’re outside and they’re also very long on my legs too. I can literally cover up both of my feet with them, which I have to say I love!

What do you think of my outfit? Yay or nay? What superhero and/or villians do you admire?

TV Shows I’m Addicted To!

I’ll be honest, I’m not a BIG TV watcher like I used to be. Ever since we got DISH a few years ago, I haven’t been watching TV during the day, just mainly at night. Of course, lately I have been watching the History channel like crazy. My TV is usually on the many music channels and both Food and Cooking channels. I don’t have Netflix and quite frankly I kind of don’t want to get it anytime soon because I feel like I wouldn’t use it as much as I’d like to and if I did, I’d only use it at night to watch any Disney movie I want to, which isn’t a bad thing! I do have a great mix of shows I watch during the week after 7pm. If you knew me really well, you will understand why I love all of these shows so much. If you’re looking for a new show to watch I’d suggest you get watching because you miss something awesome!

I basically see a new week starting on Sunday, you all are probably wondering why haven’t you always done that? And I can only say this. When I was in school Sunday was considered a good day outside of Monday and Friday. Sunday is the first day my week, and it starts with Total Divas and Unique Sweets. Total Divas is an hour show made up of the private lives of a few WWE Divas like The Bella Twins, Natayla, Eva Marie, and Paige. In every season they’ve somewhat changed the cast, we had Summer Rae last fall and now we don’t have Trinity aka Naomi. Which between the two of them. I think Trin was more popular. At the beginning of the season I loved Nattie but hated Eva Marie. Now I’m the opposite. My new favorite of this season is definitely Paige, she’s just young and seems to be enjoying life. I also have a major girl crush on her and Eva. My second show is only a half hour and it’s the most popular on my DVR, so far I have 37 episodes saved.

Last year, my Monday and Tuesday nights were pretty jam-packed! Now it’s only Tuesday that is kind of like that. You always need good something to look forward on Mondays, and I have The Originals. It’s the spin-off of another favorite of mine and it starts at 8pm on the CW. During season three of The Vampire Diaries we were introduced to more of the original vampire family, the Michaelsons. Everybody LOVED this family I swear! Elijah was introduced in the beginning of season two and then big almighty Klaus came into the picture at the middle but he didn’t have a “body” he was just jumping into a different body so to speak. After the end of season three, a few of the Originals stayed in Mystic Falls as a regular before heading over to New Orleans after a minor character Hayley was sent there to find more about her family, she recently had a one night stand with Klaus, which resulted in Hayley being knocked up. The story is mainly about family, whether it’s flesh and blood or not and gaining back power. It’s a different plot and more matured than TVD honestly.

Tuesday is my night of TV back-to-back. I used to have three shows going on and two were roughly playing at the same time, which always sucked! Normally, it’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. running the 8pm slot, but it’s off air until next month, Agent Carter is on at 9pm. Everybody knows how big of a fan I am of Marvel, sadly I’m not into both Arrow and The Flash, but ever since I watched the first Captain America movie, I’ve been wanting to learn more about Peggy Carter after WWII so this was my answer. I love basically everything about this show, this is Peggy’s life right after the war ended and Steve Rogers crashed into the ice. She’s still badass as she was in the film. We get to learn more about SSR and her co-workers and how they feel about having a woman agent in office because this was the late 1940s, women didn’t have big jobs like this yet. We also get to meet Edwin Jarvis, who is Howard Stark’s butler and later on becomes a tutor of little Tony Stark. I am seriously loving every minute of this show and hope it gets the “OK” for another season!

At 10pm, my second show of the night starts and it’s called Forever. It premiered in the fall, but since I didn’t exactly know if my sleep schedule would let me stay up for it, I just started recording it and watching it in the mornings. It’s a strange show to explain, because the main character Dr. Henry Morgan leads a very strange life anyway. He is immortal, he’s been alive for 200 years. Everytime he “dies,” he always ends up in the water — buck naked. He has a son that he and his wife Abigail adopted during WWII named Abraham “Abe” and he is in his 50-60s (rough estimate). Henry currently works as a New York medical examiner and works personally beside a detective named Jo Martinez and his assistant Lucas Wahl. In almost every murder there is some part of his past that is synchronized to the actual murder. While he’s living his long life he thinks he’s the only one, but as it turns out there’s another immortal running around New York seeking to pull out the bad in Dr. Morgan. We recently got to meet that character’s face, whose name is “Adam” because he said he feels like he’s been alive since the start of Adam and Eve. I love anything to do with any kind of history and since Henry has been alive since the 1600s or so, there’s a lot of ground to cover and it makes things kind of interesting and special,

I don’t have any shows on Wednesdays anymore. You all should know about my love for both The Vampire Diaries and Ridiculousness on Thursday nights. On Friday, I have roughly one show that I’ve been watching, but the original series hasn’t premiered a new episode since Christmas break. I love watching Mysteries At The Museum on Friday nights, they usually have a marathon starting at 6pm and ending at midnight. The new episodes come on at 9pm and it is hosted by Don Wildman, who used to host the History channel series Cities Of The Underworld that I just loved! The show is mainly about different relics that museums share from across America, the stories of this object came to be known for and sometimes how they got it. If you’re really into history, this your kind of show. I found it one day on accident, I heard the opening segment from the living room as my dad has other TV shows playing on the Travel channel and as soon as I heard it, I knew I had to find it and watch it. They’ve been playing a spin-off called Mysteries At The Castle, which have been equally exciting too!

So that’s it, that is what I normally watch during the week. However, I feel like I should have done this post like months ago because there’s like two more episodes left of Agent Carter and Forever. Both Dancing With The Stars and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. come back in the beginning of March. What are addicted to watching during the week?
