Five Sentence Fiction: Dazzles

NewFSFBadge-1

What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction. I got my inspiration from the heavy metal band Butcher Babies fronted by two awesome chicks, Carla Harvey and Heidi Shepherd!

This week: DAZZLES

Kori was ready, the first day of her band’s new tour was about to start; she had been through hell from the very beginning of her career and now here she was with her band getting pumped up about playing a huge crowd that afternoon!

Stardust had only two EP’s and their first was about to release soon, but they had been on three different tours since they began working on their debut album and Kori was elastic to share the new material to their long time supporters and new fans they have gotten over in the last month after their first single hit the radio stations all over the country.

Kori and the guys were jumping around and shaking violently because of the mix of their excitement and nerves boiling up to the surface, but all vanished when they started making their way up to the stage and heard people chanting their names already!

Once the introduction was finished they all joined their drummer onstage and Kori greeted the crowd with her mic in hand, ready to jam and have some fun like they always do.

After five minutes being outside, on the scorching stage, using all of her energy to the people below, she was dazzled by the sun and feeling the sweat travel down her forehead down to her eyes, it was actually giving her a headache and burning the inside of her eyes but nothing was going to stop her from enjoying this moment from being with her favorite people in the world.

Five Sentence Fiction: Fenced

NewFSFBadge-1

I know its been awhile since I’ve done a FSF post, but I’ve been taking a break from my normal routine. I originally was going to take a break from blogging altogether but instead I only stopped doing were these fun challenges. I would look every week for the new prompts but no ideas would pop out to inspire me which led to no posts for a few weeks. I hope you all understand. I am going to try this week with FSF and Sunday’s post of PIandW prompt as well. So wish me luck! Now to get us started, here are the rules to follow for this challenge. What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. This week: FENCED

A young woman is surrounded by demons, who sot her out and make her rethink about her perfect life.

They won’t let her out of their sight, they laugh and scare her back into the fetal position she sat a hundred times before.

When she awakens from the horrible nightmares, the scars are still there on her pale skin looking at her straight in the face, showing the worst of it all and how scared she has become from such nasty little beings.

She covers them up to make sure nobody sees, but she feels that they have started to suspect something is wrong with her as the once outgoing person is now trapped inside her own mind, too afraid to enjoy the company of others.

She has survived so much in her life, but she can’t keep fighting the same sickness over and over again to pretend that she’s doing better than ever; she feels as she’s trapped inside herself just waiting for the darkness to consume her spirit.

The Originals Inspired FSF: Innocence

On Wednesday, I devoted a whole post for my superhero and villains and recapped my thoughts on the season finale of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. so I thought if the word fit well enough with what all happened on The Originals finale than I’d mix it in with this week’s Five Sentence Fiction. The cool part about this is that I had actually done this with The Vampire Diaries at the beginning of the season, it kind of feels like I’ve come full circle considering both of these shows are ending on the same week. (No, I haven’t cried yet.) If you haven’t finished the last few episodes then I wouldn’t suggest reading this piece at all. If you have watched it, WHO CRIED?! I know I did. I’ve been very curious of how this episode would end to be quite honest with you, I’ve been scared of all of the character’s fates. Most importantly Hayley and the little baby. At the ending of last week’s, the baby was coming and the beginning of Tuesday’s episode when Klaus finally makes it to the church the witches are ready for the birth and when Klaus goes to attack mid-delivery the witches throw him up against the wall and trap him there. After the baby is born, Monique slits Hayley’s throat that way she wouldn’t take off with her. Klaus and Elijah have a few seconds to mourn the loss of Hayley, but do everything in their power to get that baby back. The ending is just a roller coaster of feelings. It was a beautiful but a heartbreaking episode! Exactly what a season finale should be honestly.

The world is a cruel place, enemies spoil the simple joys of life with good is overshadowed by the bad.

It’s time for sleepless nights, early morning feedings, and an endless amount of dirty diapers.

Instead this little family is being ripped at the seams for the sake of the newborn baby.

Brittany wanted to give her little princess everything she ever wanted, but also some important values too.

Hannah was only four but knew how to walk, share, and loved every piece of clothing a person put in front of her; she was humbled with what she had at such a young age that nobody could believe it.

When Brittany and her boyfriend Jack discovered they were expecting a new baby was coming, they didn’t want Hannah to feel left out of the picture.

They were moving into their new house and wanted to give her something they knew she would love, her favorite movies was Alice In Wonderland and Beauty and the Beast, they know how much she loved adventures, reading, songs, and characters of the movies.

When they brought Hannah to her new door, she saw a pink door knob, but inside was a lair of bookshelves and handmade painted talking flowers, her bed was daisy bed with a cute little kitten stuffed animal that looked like Alice’s cat Delilah; she was so happy to have the best of both worlds that she hugged her parents tightly!

One day the pain will be long gone, along with the loneliness and sorrow.

Freedom is that feeling of being able to let go of all the hurt and thoughts you get everyday, it’s a strong storm that is heading right for you but misses on propose.

Where is your sense of freedom in your state of mind?

This week: VACATION

The days of waking up at 6-7am, riding a bus to school to an eight hour-long day acting like I’d remember everything that a teacher taught me when I’d graduate.

I miss the times where breaks were only a week or two long but I didn’t know what time it was or the date because I wasn’t searching for a clock high up on the wall nor was I panicking about a test that was four days away.

Those days where having a good and bad hair day weren’t worth bitching about or the fact that I looked like a fool wearing pajamas to school when it wasn’t Spirit week.

Where summer break started in the last week of May, summer school started two weeks after and only lasted for two week at a times, and then you only had a whole month left to enjoy your freedom until you had to go back into the hell hole again.

As you get older and the longer you’re out, things like these have a tole on you because everything that you once hated has some pretty interesting, hilarious, and awakening memories to it; to me I spent 12 years of vacationing in school, I’ve had my fair share of them and I’ m not going back anytime soon.

This week: FEATHERS

The tracks of tires and footprints from bare feet  leave marks on the soft ground, the small strains of grass plastered into the dirt.

The strong scents from the spring air, the raindrops stick onto the large but still growing leaves.

Wild animals ran around the back woods looking for food, the insects run to the nearest flower for pollen and necture to keep their main Queens happy.

Mountain lions get out of their comfort zones and breakaway to find their next meal; sadly the young deer with a limb is the perfect snack for him, the little bird has the same idea while he watches the monster take control over its prey.

The wren cleans its feathers with its beak and watches the mighty lion eat away at the defenseless creature down below, but as its feeling sad for him, the wren tiny eyes take wind of the sudden movement besides the lion, a little and defenseless bug races back to its hole but keeping a close eye on the bird above looking at him; it was lunch time.
