I found this little Christmas tag while scrolling through my Twitter the other night by Miss Jemma of Dorkface. I’ve seen a lot of different Christmas post from other friends in the past few weeks, I’m kind of feeling like Charlie Brown at the moment. Not really knowing why I feel so down about Christmas, but I am! My nana and I still haven’t decided what we’re going to do about little DIY gifts to everybody in our family like we did last year. It’ll be another last minute Christmas project too! I’m kind of hoping you enjoy this little tag and maybe get a good laugh at some of my answers! Merry Christmas!

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

I’ve always had dreams of being snowed in somewhere that had a beautiful fire-place and an indoor hot tub. To some this would be a nice date type of thing to do with their partner, but I’d like to go by myself or my sister. I only said her because she’d be the only one that could handle the snow and being indoors!

Favorite Christmas movie?

I am a lover of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. That’s the classic in my family!

Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?

I refuse to answer this, because I know I’ll be wrong! Lol

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Yes, I have. I love them! It doesn’t matter how old I get, it’s probably one of the prettiest times of the year, especially the snow came the night before and the sun is out and glaring over the snow. If you’ve lived out in the outside of your city or town, you know what exactly I mean!

Where do you usually spend your Christmas?

I spend mine at my house in the very early mornings and then around 8am, we all get ready to head to my nana’s house for the next part of the morning!

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Nope. I don’t think we’ve never done that actually!

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Dasher, Rudolph…So no!

What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?

If we don’t get the chance to make anything homemade this year, we still have our annual decorating sugar cookies.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

We’ve never had a real tree. We’ve all watched Christmas Vacation to know we’d get stuck with the damn huge tree and ChiChi would drink the tree water, plus our cats would go into our tree and jump out and scare the living shit out of us.

Hands down, what’s your all-time favorite Christmas food and Christmas sweet treat?

Cinnamon rolls, so technically that crosses both answers!

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

I like receiving gifts, but it is better to give gifts away! It warms my heart.

Does your favorite family have a special Christmas recipe you like to help make?

They never really do any food stuff for Christmas, I mean my dad ALWAYS makes us breakfast, besides nana. She’s the one who makes the cinnamon rolls for me. Yes, me. My dad likes to include eggs on our Christmas breakfast and I hate them, but I usually only eat the rolls and fried potatoes he also makes too! I’m getting hungry thinking about it!

Are you a pro-wrapper or do you fail miserably?

I’ve never wrapped a gift. I’m hoping to this year though!

Most memorable Christmas moment?

I throw up in my cousin’s brand new shoes.

What made you realize the truth about Santa?

The early nights of going to bed when you didn’t want to.

Do you make New Year resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I like them, I’m glad to say I’ve had two good years of breaking them but not entirely stopping them.

What makes Christmas special for you?

Being around my family and sharing laughs and the huge wrappers piling in the middle of the living room floor.

Meet The Originals

Tonight is the second to last epsode of season three of 2011. If you don’t have a Twitter, we’re all sad and definitely not ready to see it go for a whole month. I love when they do flashbacks, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited since the beginning of season two and three. I’m really getting into the whole “Originals” ever since I found out Elijah and Klaus were brothers. That was just interesting.

I’ve heard that Elijah (Daniel Gillies) comes back tonight. He kind of has to if they are doing a flashback of how the Originals came about. I’m getting more into Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) character and I am in love with Rebekah (Claire Holt) she is one sassy, bitch. Tonight I think is also where we get to meet the original mother.

I’m just very happy I have nothing else to watch whenever this comes on like I did last week. I watched The Great Pumkin Charlie Brown through the first 30 minutes of the episode. Everytime it would go to commercial I’d change to TVD and then I’d be confused because since I missed the first part I had no idea why or how Lexi, Mason, and the vampire from the tomb Fredrick was back. The next day though I watched it and then I understood the rest of it. It’s been raining all day, if our power goes out during this or before it even comes on I’m going to be pissed.

Justin Timberlake < Mad About You

So yesterday was Thursday and it was suppose to be just full of The Vampire Diaries and Great Pumkin Charlie Brown, yeah well while I was on my Facebook that morning I discovered my favorite person in the world was going to be on The Ellen Show. My insides were screaming, and I got too excited for my own being. Justin is just amazing! I’ve had celebrities and musicians put a smile on my face before but he had another hold on me that I can’t seem to fight off. It might be because he has a charity for Shriner’s Hospitals. Which is where I went and had my surgeries done. Well, one surgery the others I had at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. Anyways, it might be that.

I was excited to see that he was going to be on there. One problem, I think her time slot got pushed back an hour because of Dr. Phil. Usually it’s on at 4pm but ever since they put Dr. Phil on that channel she is pushed back to 5pm. Anybody want to guess what show starts at that time too? My favorite show, besides The Vampire Diaries and a few others. Mad About You. They came on the same time! I was willing to give up the first half hour of The Vampire Diaries for Charlie Brown, but I didn’t want to give up Mad About You too.

Justin Timberlake was her only guest besides Coldplay, and luckily I’m not that big of a fan of them so after they played their game I switched it over to Mad About You. By this time it is 10 minutes into the second episode. Sad part was I actually knew both episodes. The one time I actually remember two of the episodes of the day I can’t watch them. I was somewhat pissed, but seeing Justin Timberlake on my TV made me all happy inside. So I forgot about it.

Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

So everybody I am totally excited! Now I definitely know it’s October and getting closer to Halloween, when ABC decides to reair my favorite Peanuts special. It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, has got to be the best one ever!! Linus is my favorite Peanuts character. He will always be my favorite.

My nana posted this on my Facebook account and I just had to blog about it. Not only is it going to play this week, but sadly on Thursday. Anyday, but Thursday. Why me? Thankfully, you can watch The Vampire Diaries online. Because I might just say “oh, what the hell” and watch it. I forgot about it last year. I was not happy. I’m not missing it this year no matter what.

The Month Where The Leaves Start To Change

It’s finally October! The “fun” month for every kid and kid at heart adults. It’s the month where the leaves start to change colors. Stores bring out their Halloween stuff if they haven’t been doing that yet. Kids are paining pumpkins. Kids and adults are picking out costumes for Halloween. Everybody’s ready to go to haunted houses. However, I’m just ready for ABC plays “The Great Pumpkin” because I missed it last year.

Last night I went to the Homecoming football game. We lost, and I didn’t expect to talk to people. I thought I was going to be ignored like I was the weekend before and be pissed off the rest of the night. I actually prepared myself for that. Obviously God had other plans for me. Besides having a fun day with my mom and grandparents. I went to the game and actually had fun with that. I talked to ALOT of people, a few I haven’t seen in awhile and a few that I talk to but not as much.

I’m not doing dressing up this year. One of these years I will dress up as a Transformers. Its a sad goal, but true! I was a Punk Ballerina last year and nothing this year. I’m sure we’ll have to get candy for any of our neighbors or dad’s friends kids that come by. I think I’m just ready for the Disney Halloween movies start back up and Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin to come on. Ah! Childhood memories!
