Vloggers That I Love #5

I think I am going to try to do one Vloggers That I Love post a month, because I have quite a bit still on my list. Every time I feel like I’m finally done putting new ones on it, I literally add two more, but mostly to include a third onto every post. Anyways, this week I is either going to make you very happy or depressed you’re not rich; we’ll see what happens at the end of the post?

RemiLife | luxury fashion, beauty + weight loss

I first discovered Remi’s vlogging channel last Christmas, I was looking for new Vlogmases to watch and I happened to find hers throughout the long list of channels. My first impression of Remi was that I loved her personality; she’s a fast talker, lovable woman. I knew I would be back day after day just to see what kind of craziness she’ll get into it!

Remi talks mostly about luxury fashion and beauty products, which is the reason why I said in the first paragraph that you might be a little sad while reading this post! Honestly, I love her hauls and gifted videos the most, because she gets so excited for everything! I’ve noticed that a lot of others that post similar videos, they’re not as thrilled on camera. I especially love it when her doggy Daisy gets in the middle of unboxing and wants to play at that exact moment. Poor girl!

Another thing I love about her is that she is real about her weight loss journey. Apparently that’s why she created her channel in the first place, which I thought was interesting because I figured that would be something that I would be afraid to share online, knowing all of the horrible comments a person can get on just about everything! She likes to talk about food, what she eats on a regular basis and even on her cheat days too! I actually love whenever she takes trips to Whole Foods because she’ll show you what she likes the most and goes for both healthy and junk food! She’s just me and she’ll find something and go “ooh!” for things she hasn’t seen in a while! She makes food shopping so fun!

AlishaMarie | luxury fashion, beauty, podcastor

Remi has a best friend that is featured quite a bit in her vlogs, and that is Alisha! She talks about the same things but her style is way different!

Alisha lives with her sister Ashlee, who also owns a YouTube channel! She has a puppy named Chloe, and her personality is similar to Remi’s but less bubbly. I honestly don’t watch her as much but whenever I do, I actually like to binge watch a few in one day! I love watching her makeup tutorials, I’ve been craving these videos lately and not only do I wear makeup, I don’t even own anything either. I just love watching the different ways to put it on I guess!

I left this last part to the end because it goes with both girls, they are pocastors of their own channel called Pretty Basic where they talk about everything in their lives like past relationships, insecurities, hottest trends, it’s a mixed bag and whenever my Spotify does work, it is fun to listen to their sometimes wild stories.

Inthefrow | luxury fashion & beauty

When I first found Victoria, I only knew about her blog (and her beautiful lilac hair!) but I didn’t really like her until I saw that she had a YouTube channel and I started to really get interested into her tastes! For a while, she was my only luxury blogger/vlogger, and while I was scrolling to see who follows and my original list of three turned into like eight or nine in a very short time span!

I think the main reason why I love watching her videos is that she has a gentle voice, her British accent is a little thick but I have been learning a lot about some of their terms over the years, so I’m becoming a bit of a pro now! She is into a lot of luxury items, and gets invited to a lot of events and sometimes they lead her away from London to various countries, like Paris, New York City and Tokyo. One of my favorite things is that she tries to take us along with a vlog or two of her adventures! It does nothing for my wanderlust but I am getting through it pretty well I think.

Unfortunately, I haven’t really kept up with her stuff and it sucks because she was one of the first few vloggers I started watching when I discovered the mother load of other blogs and YouTube channels in 2014. Maybe after this post is up I will get back into watching hers again? Has she gotten married yet? I would love to read that blog post or watch the vlog if it’s published already.

So, we are done with this list, but I do have like two more luxury vloggers that I tend to watch every once in a while, but I am going to keep them back for my next theme so you will have to wait for that! do you have any guesses as to the others are?

do you enjoy watching YouTubers that talk about luxury things like fashion, cars, and/or trips? Who do you love that you think I would like too?

My Name In Blog Tag

Every once in a blue moon, I’ll check out my Reader and read some new blog posts. I found a new tag that seemed really fun to do, plus I had done something similar with my Twitter username that same week! I have grown to love these different blog tags now; they’re usually easy to come up with and you’re able to schedule them way ahead in time, so really they’re like the perfect post when you’re really lazy!

Ally Writes Things is the one that shared it on her blog. She does a LOT of really cool tags that are just not about books, because that’s one reason why I never liked them before the end of 2018. I have been tempted to do quite a few of the tags she’s done in the past, especially the movie based ones!

The Rules For This Tag:

  • Spell your name with other blog names
  • If you have a long blog name, feel free to shorten it/only use part of it!
  • Write a bit about each blog you mention to tell the world how much you love them.
  • Pingback to the creator of this tag
  • Pingback all the blogs you mentioned so they can see why you love them.

Here are the blogs and mini shout out to the people behind them!

G – Geeky Tourist | Emma has a wonderful blog on her hands! She talks about books, movies, TV shows and even some science too! The blog post that made me love her was the Harry Potter locations in London (she also has one based in Edinburgh too!) and considering I am a BIG fan of the Harry Potter films this was right up my Diagon alley! Get it?

O – Sorry, unfortunately I don’t follow any “O” blogs!

T – The Little Blog Of Vegan | Holly Jade runs a vegan blog (duh!) but it’s not just about vegan food she talks about, it’s everything that makes up the vegan lifestyle! So, she has posts about why she wanted to go that route, plus discusses other cruelty free products like make up, clothes, etc. Everybody can learn a lot by her blog and you can definitely find yourself scrolling through the many recipes she has created late at night, trust me I’ve done this once or twice in the past couple of years!

M – Moving Picture Review | Shona has a great movie blog! She loves various of genres, and has inspired me to talk about movies again on here too. Since 2017, I have been open to discussing my individual favorites and what kind of genres I like to stick to, but I’ve even started to explore others that I might have lost interest in over the years or maybe have been too afraid to watch before, so she’s done a lot for me in that aspect!

E – Ella Was Here | Ella is a gentle soul. She really makes me happy, her posts always help me feel calmer and her entire blog is like my inner aesthetic I think, it’s just beautiful! How I want mine to be one day! It seems strange to describe it like that, but once you check it out you’ll (hopefully) know what I’m trying to say!

G – Gin & Biscuits | Kristina is a beauty, lifestyle and travel blogger. Her blog is gorgeous! Really easy to read, which is one thing that I search for in blogs because there are some with itty-bitty font and you have to squint your eyes to read each word. It’s super annoying! Anyways, I like to mostly read her lifestyle and travel posts. They’re always so bucket list worthy!

H – The Howling Wolfheart | I found Kitten’s blog by chance and from the moment I went on it, I fell deeply in love with it! I am a sucker for nerdy blogs. I like being able to find similar interests with people, especially bloggers, and if they are proud to talk about their superheroes, action films, etc I will forever follow them!

A – Absolutely Lucy | I love Lucy’s blog a lot! She makes you want to travel to places that maybe you have never considered before! She’s been one of my mentors in the blogging world, I’ve learned a lot from her and she is always honest and sweet to me!

N – Nourish ME | Steph is a very fun blogger, she talks about various topics from mental health, baking, make-up, books, the list goes on. I like to see what the bloggers really enjoy and I think she has the perfect mix of things that I think everybody would like as well!

So, what did you think of this? Truth be told, this was actually a lot more difficult than I originally thought it would be! I’m also very glad that I talked myself out of including the “Blog” at the end or I would never get this up for you! Despite this though, it was pretty fun to talk about some of my friends again. I hope you go and check out these blogs and enjoy yourself!

Blogs That I Love #11

It’s another week and I think everybody liked the fact that I bought this series back for another round. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep it going this time around. Like, I said last week I only do this for you as readers and other bloggers to find new blogs to read and give you a little bit about the writer and blog too. I don’t do it for anything in return or anything. I just like the making people smile and feel better about themselves and their blogs!

  1. Footnotes and Finds – This blog is run by two sisters from Canada. There names are Tript and Prabt and they are very, very sweet! They’ve had their blog since 2012 and it’s about lifestyle. They talk about travel, food, and fashion. Recently they do some posts about Bollywood, which I really loved because I love that culture very much. They even had a post recently about a fashion show with different Bollywood dresses, they were so beautiful! The girls are vegetarian so the recipes that they share on their blog are without meat.
  2. A Red Lip And A Nude Shoe – I found Miss Rosie Rockets (that’s her Twitter name!) a few weeks ago, while one of her posts from trip to the US was being RT’d around on Twitter. I liked her posts so much that I literally “followed” her blog after two reads. She’s from Australia, so she’s on a totally different time zone than me in general. The other day I decided to devote my time to read her other posts and she does a lot of fashion posts, apparently it’s Fashion Week in Melbourne. She talks about fashion, beauty, travel and food! I love a good food and travel blogger and she rocks both!
  3. Scarphelia – In the blogging world, we have several bigger bloggers that are even verified on both Facebook and Twitter. They’ve been nominated and won these different blog awards and some have even been given some great opportunities that you wouldn’t necessarily see a blogger do, ever! Well, Katie who owns Scarphelia has done a couple of these with her blog. I think of her as one of these bigger bloggers that I never thought I’d aspire to become one day! Sounds so weird but it’s true! Katie is pretty young and she’s not exactly like the others you see today either. She writes to inspire others and she likes adventures and voicing different thoughts. Recently she started blogging everyday this month but instead of doing the regular 30 Day challenges you can find on Google or Pinterest. She asked her followers to give her different fiction prompts and on the fifth day, she’s doing pretty amazing! Sadly, she doesn’t have one of those blue check marks that means she’s verified yet but I’m hoping she will soon.
  4. The Pyreflies – Jessica is a very different blogger, but then again this entire post is about “different” bloggers, not really fitting into the normal niches like the others. She’s a geek. Not a geek like me were I’ve played a few games here and there, only watch Superhero movies, and not as obsessed with characters. She’s the totally opposite of me, let’s just say that! However, she does love both Harry Potter and Disney! As she likes to talk about her geeky side, she does quite a few fashion posts! She does some other entertainment and lifestyle posts too!

I’ve Been Nominated For The Liebster Award

liebster-awardWell, it’s happened again. I’ve been nominated for another blog award, granted it’s the same one I was nominated for last year but I’ve read there’s a few rules to get through before you can actually wear the badge with pride on your blog, one of the rules are is that you need to be nominated from like five other bloggers. It really is like a chain letter. Anyways, I say this but it never means I’m not grateful for them and for the bloggers to send to me. It’s so always so sweet because as a blogger, you never think people read your blog, they just skim through it! Well apparently not my friend and fellow blogger Buffalo Girl!

She is such an amazing woman, I love to read her blog posts. I actually make time in my day to read them – you know I’m obsessed now! She always makes me smile and laugh in her posts but one thing that I found really inspiring is that she is an anonymous blogger. Meaning, she does NOT post a full picture of herself and she hasn’t reveal her name either. From the first time I started reading her posts and talking to her on Twitter, yes we chat on Twitter! She’s made me want to clean up how I post pictures on the Internet, in other words on Twitter and my blog. I was never really comfortable with sharing what I looked like on here in the first place but I knew I had to have some proof of my disability for any of you to understand that I’m not shitting you. Now I just post pictures of my arms and feet, since that’s basically all my disability is about, except of course, my wheelchair. So this is what she’s inspired me to do. And she calls me an inspiration, pffft please!

This is how it’s going to go down, there are some rules to this award, so read all about it and then read the blogs that I have nominted for the award too!

 1. Link back the blogger who nominated you.
2. Answer the 11 questions given to you by the blogger.
3. Give 11 facts about yourself.
4. Also, list 11 questions you’d want your nominated bloggers to answer.
5. Nominate 5 bloggers for the award.

Questions From Buffalo Girl:

1. If you could only eat one thing for breakfast for the rest of your life, what would you pick? You can have whatever you want for your other meals but you have to have the same thing every morning because I said so.

I would choose fruit honestly, because for one thing I don’t eat enough of it and I think eating it once a day for the rest of my life would be a healthy choice, right?

2. What’s your favorite song?

This is a BAD question when you constantly find new music everyday of your life, but I’ll give you three for today: Lullabies by Yuna, Bones Exposed by Of Mice & Men, and lastly Tell Mama by The Civil Wars ❤

3. If you could live in any place in the world, in any time period throughout history, where and when would you pick?

I’m not going to lie, I would want to live in the 1800s or somewhere along there, whether I’m in the states or in the UK doesn’t really matter. I feel like I know more about that time frame in the US than I do overseas, so take me there I guess!

4. You have to go to space for one year and you can only bring 5 things. (Things – not people or pets). What would you bring?

I would bring three books that I have not read yet. Markers and a coloring book. Lotion. and my wheelchair (could you imagine me in my wheelchair doing backflips in space, haha!)

5. What’s your favorite pair of shoes that you own?

Well, this is somewhat of a touchy subject considering I don’t/can’t wear shoes. So I’ll just switch this up a bit, I hate both tight and ankle socks. Yuck!

6. If you had to be any infamous evil villian, who would you pick?

Magneto, I’m a BIG Marvel girl. 😀

7. What was the weirdest dream or nightmare that can remember having?

The most weirdest dream was actually from this morning, I seriously have no idea what it means but it was full of evil magic and birds. I’m thinking The Hunger Games: Catching Fire had something to do with it considering I finished that movie yesterday.

8. Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging for one of my classes during my senior year of high school, how and why I continued to go on with it remains a mystery to me and my family, because everytime I wrote stuff in a diary/journal it would be the real me and this somehow worked for me and it’s been a great release and healing place for me ever since.

9. What is your guiltiest pleasure?

My guiltiest pleasure is watching Disney movies in front of adults and I do it proudly because I know they are making fun of me in their heads!

10. What’s the one word or phrase that you know you overuse, but can’t seem to stop?

Um, it’s probably “what the crap?” but it’s a lot better to say out in public than the other way.

11. Finish this sentence: “I am beautiful, amazing person, and the thing I love most about myself is that I…” And your answer can’t be something appearance related.

I have learned from my mistakes but also others as well, I am more optimistic, I pick my battles, and I know that NOT everyday is going to be a bad day.

11 Facts About Me:

1. I don’t like wearing bracelets on my wrists, they have to be in on my ankles and if they’re not my hands/fingers go insane for the whole day because they’re so sensitive to certain textures.

2. I am a lover of skulls, one of my friends is the same way and I am tempted to go into her house but I’m afraid I’ll never leave.

3. I have been through a musical journey, I’ve somehow been into every genre of music, even a few I said I’d never get into like classic rock, death metal, folk, and country.

4. I don’t like tea and/or coffee.

5. I was NEVER into apple juice, grape juice, chocolate milk you make from using chocolate syrup and any type of green vegetable (but can’t count green beans and lettuce) when I was younger but now I love them all.

6. I still have majority of my stuffed animals. My ultimate favorites are in this bookshelf that should be used for my never-ending stack of books but no, that’s where  my little creatures sleep.

7. I was NEVER a lover of cats growing up. Our first cat Oliver has been an adventure for us all ever since my sister tried to “help” him with his milk. Now he’s old, blind in one eye, walks with a bit of a limp, and has nose and pulling out his own fur problems. We have (as of now) 8 other cats that live outside. My dad can no longer say he hates cats considering the last three males from the liters have stayed with us because they were his favorites. My kittens are usually the ones given away or killed.

8. Since we’re talking about animals, I am a BIG supporter of pit bulls. I think people are giving the breed a bad rap and it’s not the dogs fault if they were raised to fight, it should be the owners and if you think otherwise well then you need to get yourself educated and I’ll be glad to help you with that because we had a beautiful pit bull named Chance (as kids, my sister and I were obsessed with the  Homeward Bound movies) and she was the most lovable dog ever!

9. I don’t like I need to wear makeup to feel beautiful, I proudly say it out in public because it is hassle to put on whenever you’re not doing it yourself and trust me, I’d rather have my sister put on my makeup than my mom any day.

10. I don’t think I’ll ever be comfortable getting a medi/pedi, since my arms and fingers are so different from others that it’s difficult for my mom to even cut my nails off. There are some good parts about your pinkies being hidden underneath other fingers because if somebody does a bad job on that finger nobody knows.

11. I am SO glad that I am no longer in school anymore and getting up early isn’t exactly a drag.

11 Questions For My Nomintees:

1. What is your favorite quote or proverb?
2. What is your favoritr day of the week? Not Saturday or Sunday, just week.
3. What is your favorite sound?
4. If you were in the middle of a small city, the only things you had with you were your jacket and your new camera, which of these three objects would make you snap a picture? An old building, with a collapsed roof and broken windows, a bed of dying flowers, or a small farm of horses eating on the hill in the distance?
5. What is the one thing that you still have from your days in high school, your old class shirts, varsity jacket, class rings?
6. What is the one show that you just cannot miss for the world everytime it is on at night?
7. What is your favorite scented candle?
8. I know you’ll be craving Thanksgiving dinner after reading this, but what is your favorite go-to dessert to eat during the holidays?
9. Name three types of trees. GO!
10. Who was your childhood crush? It can be from your favorite childhood movie, TV show, boy band, hell even an old classmate?
11. Describe yourself in one word.

Here Are My Nominates!

Each Mood I Have: Sandy is a beautiful woman, who talks about beauty, fashion, lifestyle and is a gamer. In other words, she’s a nerd like me!

Jenni Hearted: Jenni is such a sweetheart, she talks about beauty, lifestyle, fashion, but also food, she has actually decided to start eating vegan this past week. I’m not going to lie, I’m very curious about it all and I can’t wait to read about them.

Fine and Dandy: Claire is my friend that I’ve talked about a lot in this here blog, nothing like meeting somebody who treats just as if she’s met you face-to-face, she’s a beauty, lifestyle, DIYer, and everything in between.

All That Glitters: Miss Candice, I love her blog, I really do. I have learned a lot of things about the ole West Coast. She’s a lifestyle, fashion, food, and travel.

The British Girl: Beth, I love her blog, it’s another one of those blogs that I make time to catch up on because I’m always missing something on her blog. She is definitely a travel, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blogger all the way.

Blogs That I Love #7

Sorry for the last two weeks of new posts. Everytime I went to do one or had time to do it I ended up forgetting about it altogether. This time I’m listing bloggers that I’ve been thinking about and I’ve got to say, that never happens! I never think about what could be another person’s blog post. I’m also listing bloggers that have decided to follow me or send me their links lately. I’m thinking of creating next Friday’s the same way so if you don’t follow my Twitter already, you might be selected in next week’s blog post! Even though I’m doing it this way, I still want it to be fully about other bloggers and sharing the love for each one! I love promoting bloggers and I don’t do it to earn anything back. I just want to be nice and make somebody smile. People seem to like these posts and I want to continue to make them happy! If you’re not already following these blogs you should right away!

  1. Jasmin Charlotte – This pretty little lady added me on both Twitter and followed me on my blog I think a week or so ago. I love her blog. It’s so simple and cute! She talks about beauty, her travels, and different health posts! She’s a sweetheart and she takes some pretty pictures. She’s got a thing for science too, so that’s a very interesting and unique twist to her. She’s the first that I’ve seen that actually talks about science in her posts, especially if it’s about beauty too!
  2. Buffalo Girl – There are just sometimes where I regret being so open about everything about myself, but then again I wouldn’t be the way I am today and none of my readers would know about my disability and such. This lady chose to do blogging anonymous. I give her major props about that honestly! She’s also pretty new to the blogging world too so I thought I’d help with promoting her blog! She blogs her life and Buffalo, New York! I’ve never wanted to go to NY in my life but she kind of makes me want to go!
  3. Lily Kate – Last week when I got to do a blogger chat, a certain blogger sent her link to me and from the time the page finally loaded, I honestly didn’t want to leave. It was like really professional looking but simple and girly! I was impressed! The fact that she’s a very wide variety blogger, which makes me kind of selective to what I read, but that’s okay! Something that I really like about her is that she’s a teenage blogger but since acts and looks like an adult makes her kind of relatable to me.
  4. Ballet Dance Fitness – I’ve heard of ballet, well any kind of dancing is good for working out. My sister loves to do Zumba as her workouts, for me I’m a good ole Just Dance dancer. I do all of the hand movements with my feet and I still feel like I could pass out by the end of the song! Natasha is a former ballet dancer, but she’s been teaching classes and now wants to share fitness and lifestyle posts with both dancers and non-dancers, which makes me very happy for my inner dancer self!
  5. Little Miss Katy – Everyone likes those blogs that from the time everything loads and that first post is there waiting for you top read it, you have a new favorite blog! On Wednesday, I was apart of the lifestyle blogger (lblogger) chat and at the end this blogger was nice enough to send me her link and I’m so glad she did! Her blog is girly, but simple and cute! It doesn’t take a lot to impress me and I like to keep things simple. Katy seems to be really sweet and I can’t wait to keep up with her blog posts!
