Blogmas: Best Songs of 2021!

Hello!

I wasn’t going to do any new year style posts until after Christmas, but I couldn’t figure out when they would actually publish so I ended up taking my previous blogmas posts down for this week and switched them. The only original post left is going out on Wednesday, as it is pretty important as it talks about my process of the Christmas ornaments, I made this year.

Let’s discuss the music that came out in 2021.

I was a little surprised on my direction as for the last couple of years, I’ve been all about pop music and this year, I had listened to a lot of hard rock and heavy metal. I thought the summer playlist was weird with how much I had included in that post too, but I was pulled to listen to Sirius XM Octane throughout the first part of the year. I didn’t get my new TV until late summer so I couldn’t play Spotify unless I wanted to stay up in my bed and after a while, it can be a little boring. Now that I can use the app on my TV, it doesn’t matter what position I’m in! Whoohoo for me!

Unfortunately, I didn’t listen to very many new albums and EPs, and I still feel horrible because if I’m not going to make room to do review on it, there’s a big chance I will just forget about it completely. The ones I do remember were: “Demidevil” by Ashnikko, “Amorphous” by Icon For Hire, “The Art of Falling Apart” by Serena Ryder, “Omega” by Epica, “Life Support” by Madison Beer, “Charlotte” by Charlotte Lawrence, “Harmonica Andromeda” by KSHMR, “The Bitter Truth” by Evanescence, “Clouds (The Mixtape)” by NF, “Therapy” by Anne-Marie, “Strong” by Anette Olzon, “Eternal Blue” by Spiritbox, “If I Should Die” by Niia, and finally “The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood” by Ice Nine Kills,

…Okay, so I listened to quite a bit more albums than I originally thought I had…

Anyways, these were my Top 20 songs of the year. If you would like to listen to even more music, here is the Spotify playlist for you to enjoy.
