What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.
This week: HUMAN
I am human, my skin can cut and bruise easily.
You can see the blood run down my arm like the tears I cry before bed every night.
You can’t hear my screams as I keep them bottled up inside to keep you safe from my uncontrolled rage.
Please don’t tell me that you love me or think I’m beautiful, because my head will just continue to lie to me.
It doesn’t matter how many times you tell me, my demons will always win inside.
