How Am I Still Awake? Is It Too Early To Be Asking That Question?

Well, I’ve had, what feels like a long day, but it was pretty good though. Last night I couldn’t go to sleep for anything. I think I went to bed at like 2am and I was actually so bored that not only was I on Pinterest for an hour, but I decided to watch the episode of Push Girls that I taped because I watched Mistresses instead. I was going to change that up, switch my DVR to tape Mistresses and watch Push Girls at 10pm, since it is a half hour. But I do have my DVR set up and everything, so who knows if I will actually remember to do that next Monday. Probably not. Anyways, my mom got movies for us to watch. I just got done watching The Guilt Trip and it was pretty good! I was surprised that I didn’t cry like I thought I would. And Barbra Streinsand is still a beautiful woman! Such classic beauty! I think I’m going to wait until tomorrow to watch Identity Theift.

I’ve done some more writing on my story today. I already have a chapter three, I’m still editing it, but it’s almost done. I also have an idea for chapter four too. Chapter three and four are the “explaining” chapters, what roles Odessa and her sister witches: Celeste and Tara (name might be changed soon!) face in the coming chapters. Right now, I’m explaining what role Odessa’s past plays in the whole story. Which is tricky, I’ve got to say! But it is fun because I didn’t think I would actually get one single idea today, and I’ve gotten like four of them so far! I might be staying up late just to work on these two chapters.

If anybody has heard, the band Skillet’s new album, “Rise” was released today! I got to listen to it via Billboard website’s stream of it yesterday. It’s pretty awesome! I have thought about doing a music review but sided against it. Spotify has the Deluxe edition on there. All three bonus tracks are very good! I think my favorites are, of course “Rise,” “Not Gonna Die,” and then the new tracks that we haven’t heard, “Cirius For A Psycho,” “Madness In Me,” “Salvation,” and “What I Believe.” Also, if you haven’t heard, Backstreet Boys’ new single “In A World Like This” was released as well! Honestly, I don’t like it very much. I am definitely into rock/metal too much nowadays. I haven’t decided if that’s a good or bad thing yet.

Trifecta Writing Challenge: Rusty

The walls were painted white.

The carpet was a beige.

The furniture was a mix of green, white, and blue/

The living room lacked any creative outlook.

As the years went by, most of everything new became old.

The carpet now had stains around where the coffee table was.

That commercial about how if “you’re not whitening, you’re yellowing,” left out the walls turning into a ugly shade of yellow after so many years.

The furniture had been switched three times.

It never mattered how much you took care of it, because there was still a chance something will be spilled, or a dog will poop, or worse a cat will cough up a hair ball on them.

It didn’t matter what you did to get rid of the ugly colors around your house they were still there.

Everything would change, except for the pictures hanging on the walls.

Tape was good, but tape could only hold for so long.

A rusty nail was the best choice to use to hang a picture on the stained wall.

It was the same color as the frames, so it was the best choice to use.

It had been getting older just by sitting in a box.

When it’s being used it shines, because you know it will hold on.

It’ll last longer than anything else you ever had in that house.
