Bass And Magic

So today, my parents went out and about and I got to spent most of my afternoon at my nana’s, which was fine. We talked about a lot of different things. Some were about serious stuff and the rest were our crazy stuff that we normally talk about on a daily basis. Even though most of the time when I talk, my mouth goes faster than my brain and words altogether. I mess up half of the sentence because I can’t pronounce it right or my brain just goes blank. Which has happened before. Long story short, I’m not good at talking. For some reason I switched to writing, and sometimes I suck at that too.

Anyways, my mom was pretty much texting me throughout the visit. She and dad went out-of-town, and I thought they were going to Wal-Mart, but I was sadly mistaken. She texted me that she already found one of my Christmas presents. I’ve told her about six times that since my birthday is closer, she should get it to me then, instead of me waiting an extra month. I should now know about early Christmas presents. She came back in my dad’s truck, so she could take my grandparents trash out to the dump. So she put me in the truck and told she found out how to switch his radio to one of the variety stations. Dad loves country music, and he also has an awesome stereo system in the backseat, but yet he still listens to country. I don’t get it. On the good note, he has listened to rock music, like Guns ‘N Roses and Megadeth, while I’m with him. Sitting in the truck with my mom was embarrassing. We only got to hear three songs, but all three had bass and my mom couldn’t help herself and danced in the truck. I am not going to lie and I even said it in front of her, I would much rather listen to Gn’R and Megadeth than Carly Rae Jepson and LMFAO any day.

When we got inside, my mom showed me a shirt she got for herself and showed me another surprise. She got me Magic Mike for the night. I have been excited to this movie all summer long. I watched it for the first time and hated it. I don’t know why though. I told my mom that this has happened twice. I read the first book of 50 Shades of Grey and hated it so much that I have not read the next two books and don’t want it. Both of these are very popular and yet, they both bothered me. The first dance scene was amazingly hot. I will be honest about that, but the whole storyline sucked. I also didn’t like both Alex Pettyfer and Matt Bomer’s characters. They irritated me. Seeing Channing Tatum’s ass again was nice as well. I also missed him dancing, in general. Joe Managaniello is one sexy man. I also didn’t quite care for Matthew McConaughey either. The movie was very overwhelming for me. The dancing was okay, but everything else was just too much for me.
