Yesterday was a fairly good day. I take that back it was a great day. I don’t think I’ve had one of those days in a while. It was a nice change for me. I woke up kind of early, considering what time I went to bed that night. We all went to bed around midnight Saturday. It still freaks me out sometimes that both of my parents stayed up for that long. They tell us all the time that we’re crazy. Hmmm.. I beg to differ on that one now. Anyways, they were all up before me on Sunday. Shocker, I know. Usually I’m the first one up, but not this time. I was tired. They had an excuse to be up early, Emily had to go to work in the morning. When I got up (finally) she had already left and the other two were sitting in the living room, talking. I have this weird sense of humor, where if I know somebody’s awake I’ll plug my speakers into my laptop and listen to music. About five minutes after I started a song, my mom came walking in.
She told me she got me a surprise this morning. It was 11:30am and I was thinking, “how long has this woman been up?” I thought at first, it was going to be chocolate milk, because the day before, my mom wanted something to drink and she sent Emily into the convent store and get us something to drink. She usually asks or has money on hand so she can get something too. She’s been getting apple juice because that’s what she gets at work. This time around she got chocolate milk. As soon as we saw it, my mom’s reaction was, “what is she four?” I, of course, wanted the damn chocolate milk. It sounded so good! My mom was going to the store later anyways for my nana, so she told she’d see about getting some to take home with us. She ended up not getting any, because they were expensive. I was bummed. Back to the beginning, my mom brought my cup back into my room and I found out it wasn’t chocolate milk. Bummed, again. She brought in this plate and when she put it on my bed, I got soooooooooooooooooooooooo excited! It was pancakes. I haven’t had them in a while and been craving the heck out of them. So, you can tell I was fine with the chocolate milk that morning.
After that, I was in my movie mood again. I had watched The Avengers the day before and loved it. I haven’t watched any of the individual movies except for The Hulk. I told myself after the movie was over, I had to watch the Iron Man movies and wouldn’t you know. FX was playing the first Iron Man movie yesterday. I was a happy camper. Emily got home and was going to get a slushie for herself and asked if I wanted one. I wasn’t in the mood for it, but I really wanted Puppy Chow. They’re usually out of it by the time I get a chance to get any. So I had a plan B. Chocolate Milk. She came back with a small carton of chocolate milk. I had half of it and had a stomache the rest of the afternoon. It was worth it though, so I’m not complaining. After the movie was over, which by the way, I didn’t pay that much attention to. I was on Facebook and drinking my milk. I was in a whole another world. So I put in the first Addams Family movie and watched it until it froze up at mid-ending. Not cool. I’m thinking about putting it back in and hoping for the best.
I don’t really remember how my afternoon went to be honest with you. My morning was pretty much a hit. The only thing I did last night was watched that special on OWN about Oprah’s Academy in South Africa. It was very interesting and made me cry in parts, but if you didn’t cry you are crazy. I started watching the second round, only to turn it before 11pm. I was getting tired and paranoid of my surroundings in the dark. So I changed my TV to the last half hour of The Nanny and watched it. Did my prayers and listened to my iPod a little more while everybody went to sleep. I went to sleep at 11:30 I think. I got up at 6am just before my mom got up for work. I waited until she came in to take me to the bathroom. After that she gave me some Advil for some pain I was having and then somehow that relaxed me enough that I actually went back to bed this morning. I got up at 10:30, I was pretty happy for myself. I also just got done watching The Vow too. That is a good movie, kind of sad in parts, but really good. Also the fact that you get a good picture of Channing Tatum’s ass is a plus too! Toodles! (:
