I Was Wondering When I’d Cave. Round 1.

This doesn’t happen all the time. If I read about somebody or get into something that just I guess “go overboard” a tiny bit. Luckily, if I know the person or things well enough from either reading too many things I don’t go as crazy as I’m known for. It does however surprise me how this is coming back to bite me in the ass. Two musicians, one decade, and one thing I say I’d never do. It’s not bad in a sense. For years I’ve been telling myself my parents music is dumb and they were all crazy. If you’re reading that and wondering if I meant my parents are crazy or the musicians of that time were it could go either way. Anyways, I don’t listen to that kind of music even though they shaped every rock band that I’m into now.

I can’t say I hate all 80’s rock music since I did put “Purple Rain” on my iPod a year ago. I actually jam it every once in a while. It surprises me that I have two Velvet Revolver songs on my iPod. One I love blasting through both my headphones and stereo. I have Slash’s “Beautiful Dangerous” on my iPod. I actually bought it myself. I also have Rihanna’s “Rockstar 101” featuring Slash on my iPod. I’m actually listening to Slash right now. I’m seriously freaking myself out at the moment. Apparently it’s one of those weird days where I’m not picky with what I listen to. I told my dad that I listened to “Sweet Child O’ Mine” all the way through and I think even he was surprised. He asked me how I liked it, I told him it wasn’t bad. It’s different from what I’m use to. Then he decided to give me some others that I might listen to, he suggested “November Rain” and “Knockin’ On Heavens Door.” Not gonna lie, I might listen to them later.
