Everything I try to do. Especially the newer things, I’ve somewhat regretted it. I learned to pick up my fork and spoon with my toes when I was young. Then, I couldn’t stop myself it seemed like. Coloring came next, then writing and drawing in grade school. Then I learned to type with my toes. That is one of the things I defintely don’t regret doing. Next thing was picking up little things and CDs. Middle school came and a few days before my 16th birthday. I got my first phone and evantually started texting. In just a little amount of time I learned to do alot of things.
The newer things, I played Kornhole yesterday and I’ve never played it before. My sister and I ademptted to play it. That was interesting. I couldn’t get the bags in the hole but Emily could 3 times. I should have thought about this better. She use to play softball. So she has an arm. My feet are a little rusty. I sucked but I still had fun either way. When I was Senior in High School, at our Post Prom there was a booth that was for Darts. This is how crazy I am. I decided to see if I could do it. I hate being curious, because I could kick me in the butt later. So anyways, I did this for fun and I actually popped a ballon. Which made my night even better. Then when we went on our Senior Class trip to Holiday World, they had Darts so being the “shit” I am I went for it to show my mom. I didn’t think I was create a crowd but I did. I only did it twice because people were slowly coming over to watch me throw. I never got all three but I did get one and I think thats when the crowd formed.
So its the afternoon on this wonderful Sunday. This weekend is almost over. I thought this week just dragged on. I’m hoping this week is not that slow. I’m at that state of mind where I want summer to go on forever, even though I hate the heat wave we’ve had for the last several days.
Now this is the first time I’m not getting stuff ready for school/college. Last year I was getting things ready but nothing wanted to go as fast as I wanted them to, and sometimes I thought we did somethings earlier so I wouldn’t have rushed everything. Do I regret quitting school? Nope. Am I getting tried of people telling me I should go back to school? You betcha. I just ignore people whenever they say that.
I might complain about not being able to get out of the house sometimes but doing homework online and classes as well. Not smart enough to do that. I tried and failed at it. I didn’t have a strong support system like a person’s suppose to. I wouldn’t go into Art or Journalism because I did those in school for fun and they were mostly assignments. I hate some Journalists. I am not that good at drawing, yeah I draw with my feet but I actually hate it.
It’s National Dance Day and everybody knows I’m a dancer at heart so I am in alot better mood now. So I started thinking of different artists and songs that would be amazing to listen to while being in a good mood. Not posting a sad, slow song post. Not today. It would be different if I was depressed than I probably would. So all good music with excellent beats. Let’s go!

Just found this and of course loved it! I love mashups like these! Everybody should know me by now. I love Mashups period. I am addicted. I actually stumbled on this by accident. I was listening to Backstreet Boys remixes and decided to look for BSB and N’Sync mashups (no such luck there!) and found this. Actually this was the second video I found. The first one was DJ Earworm vs. YouTube video. It was a short video. But still good. Enjoy!
I hate when I get ideas for stories and when I get the laptop loaded up or grab my notebook and pen nothing comes rushing out like they should. This has happened twice. I hate it so much. Because sometimes the idea doesn’t last longer than hour. Same thing happens with my song ideas. I can’t keep the thought and melody more than a day. Sometimes I get lucky and the title stays in my head until I finally have a little more to ideas to include it in, but that’s rare. My songs and stories are very different. Songs come through my head at night. Stories came at me at anytime. I just need to sit up and keep my notebook and pen with me always.
This idea was about a girl who loves dance. Her mother is a Ballet teacher in their hometown. The girl and her three older sisters have been studying ballet since they were practically babies. One weekend, the girl’s aunt comes into town showering her nieces with presents from the big city. The girl (Alayna) asks her aunt (Iva) where she gets all the presents. Her aunt (Iva) answers back “the big city has more places to get cute girly things besides Walmart.” Alayna’s mother doesn’t like when Iva talks to her daughters about the big city because she thinks Iva will slip and say what you she really does for a living.
The girls think she’s a big ballerina and works for a dance company. Every year Alayna asks her mother if they could see Iva in different ballet productions, but her mother says no. Iva has wanted to take her nieces to the big city for several years but has never suggested the idea to her sister til that weekend. Alayna’s mother thinks it’s a bad idea til her youngest daughter keeps begging and the two oldest beg themselves just to get rid of their youngest sister. Her mother lets Alayna go with her aunt under one condition she was not allowed to go to Iva’s real job site.
Alayna and Iva make their way to the big city of New York City. Once there Iva has told her youngest niece that they have to make a pit stop at this old, vintage place. It had stairs leading up to the doorway. Alayna and Iva got up to the door. A man that looked like a mine with his striped clothes greeted them and Iva introduced Alayna to Sebastion, the doorman for the club. He shook her hand and let them in. Once inside Alayna was stunned of what she saw. Girls were practicing their dance numbers on stage. Bartenders were getting ready for the night. They all were danced just like Sebastion. Iva told her niece to stay at the bar. Alayna nodded. Iva left her young, curious niece watching the girls practice.
Iva headed backstage to find Madame Stella. The owner of the club, she nice but knew the business of always keeping her customers coming back for more. Iva finds Stella and tells her that her youngest niece will be staying with her and she can’t work with her being here. Stella looks at Iva and says, “like I’m really going to let my star of the show miss any of the shows.” Iva was about to speak but then Stella draws her finger up and “no! If you miss any of these shows you will not work anywhere else that involves dancing.” Iva puts her head down and turns to move the curtain and sees her niece up and trying to do the dances.
While her aunt is gone, Alayna just can’t help herself. She’s a dancer herself and when music is on she will dance. Even though she was not use to this kind of music. She still found the rhythm. If she got a step right from one of the girls she would start to add her own style in it. Starting with Ballet. She moved herself and did a move that one of the dancers did and added a spin at the end. The dancers and bartenders clapped for her at the end of her spin. She bowed for them. She got as close to the stage as she possibly could to continue to watch them practice. Sebastion, the doorman grabs her and puts her in a chair. “Here doll! Can you see now?” Alayna nodded, “hey, what is that dance style called that they’re doing?” Sebastion looks at her and then at the dancers and replies, “Honey, this is Burlesque.” Alayna whispers softly to herself “what is burlesque?” Iva comes up behind and says, “something you’ll learn faster than you know.” Alayna smiles and Iva asks her “do you think you can keep this to herself away from your mom?” Alayna smiles and nods.
