It’s one of those days. Gloomy and full of empty thoughts. I’m watching last night’s episode of The Voice and probably going to shut it off soon and sing some more and might possibly read some of my book too. So I’m leaving it likes this, hopefully tomorrow I’ll a real post for you. Enjoy the quote.

The Side To Go With The Soup.
I have finally the salad that I had pictured in my head. I knew I wanted a salad with other than what I usually eat. I’m the kind of person who likes her lettuce, cheese, chicken or bacon bites, drenched in ranch dressing. Now if we go to Red Lobster, I love their Cesar Salads with baby shrimp and garlic croutons on the side. I like to watch Giada De Laurentiis make salads because she uses fruit like lemons and oranges somewhere in the salad whether it’s orange slices in the actual salad or the dressing she makes is citrus based. The salad I found is a Spinach and Arugula Salad with Orange, it was made by Rachael Ray on Food Network. Again, like with the soup I just shared I would love to try this salad too! Another thing I put along with the link on my Facebook page, was I wonder if Mr. Camp is allergic to nuts? Because the salad has hazelnuts in it too. Hmmm… I am going to think about that some more.
Here is the recipe for the salad:
Spinach and Arugula Salad with Orange
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon of marmalade
1 lemon
1/4 of extra virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 to 3 cups of young spinach
2 to 3 cups of arugula
1 navel orange peeled and thinly sliced into discs
1/2 small red onion, very thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted
Directions:
In the bottom of a shallow salad bowl, combine the marmalade with the juice of 1 lemon the whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss greens with oranges and onions and season with salt and pepper. Top it with the hazelnuts.
Glare
This picture is a lot smaller than it started off being, and the quality is bad too, but I had a bad glare and my mom couldn’t take the picture with my light on. I ordered it a few days ago and it was supposed to come in between the 12th or 17th, and it came in yesterday afternoon. The only reason why I didn’t say anything about it yesterday’s blog post but I just wanted that one to be about the new released albums and singles. Which by the way I finally got to use my iTunes card today! Anyways, I’ve had an interesting day feeling what felt like “summer heat” in full swing and we’re not even into summer yet. It was 80 degrees today. That’s crazy! Now it’s cloudy and I hope if any storms we’re supposed to get isn’t bad. My back hasn’t hurt as much as that’s a good sign. Well, I’m hoping it is at least. Okay, that’s all I wanted to share with you all today. Have a good night or good day!
